Never A Spilt Milk.

It's easy to identify spilt milk, why?

   Because it spilt.

   It's wasted.

No one takes out their time to pour back spilt milk.

   My point exactly.

Why do we see our lives as spilt milk, wasted efforts?

   Wasted time.

It feels normal now for people to expect certain things for people or themselves at certain age or period.

Yes, we make wrong decisions and make mistakes.

But with God, no minute is wasted.

   Life lessons build and strengthen.

It can also lessen and reduce whoever refuses to keep ploughing.

Yes, you didn't get married at the ideal age. (set by men and not by God)

Yes, you didn't get jobs lined up waiting for you to take your pick.

Yes, you didn't get feedback from that company even with all the qualifications you had.

Yes, you're in want of things.

   Yes, you want a job.

Yes, you want to add value to an organisation but haven't gotten the opportunity to.

Yes, you want better and more efficient equipment.

Yes, you want people to buy and sponsor your vision.

Yes, your child/children need better schools, uniforms etc.

Yes, you had to wait years to conceive.

Yes, you had the cut-off mark and weren't given admission.

Yes, you want to be the best at what you do.

Yes, you want to leave a legacy.

    Yes, yes and yes.

In all these, there is never spilt milk.

Every experience that we've trusted God through and grown from made us stronger and more ardent in knowing who is in control.

Let's take a minute trip down memory lane and think of all the experiences we've had: the good, bad, ugly, sad etc.

These experiences have taught us what works(good), what doesn't(bad), and what we should not indulge in(ugly).

Even experiences of loss and death have also taught us that we are on a pilgrimage and not here forever.

It may be hard to swallow but our experiences have shaped us.

It has made us see life through who we are in
Christ.

There's never spilt milk in Christ.

Because we know that "All things worketh together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" Rom 8:28.

Through the week, the rest of the year and till we return to our Father, let's live with the consciousness that: in Christ, there's never spilt milk.

  His thoughts.
  His plans.
His ways are all geared towards using every part of us for His glory.

Let's rejoice in knowing that we aren't wasting our lives in Christ, rather every experience is aligning for the glory of God that will be made manifest in our lives.

   Smile through it.
   Pray through it.
   Rejoice through it.
And most importantly peek a self-note: In Christ, there's never spilt milk.
