Your Right, His Right.
I've learnt overtime that we, as humans, have our rights. This cuts across all aspect of our lives. Right to vote and be voted for. Right to good education. Right to freedom of speech. Right to be respected. Right to your own things. Right to freedom of thoughts. Right to freedom of expression. Right to public assembly. Right to food and shelter. Right to social security and so many others. All of which are pretty good and somewhat essential, but in it all, I've also learnt that, some rights have to go. Right to defend yourself from opposers. Right to treat others the way they treat you. Right to make people know that you can fight for yourself. Right to revenge or avenge. Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." It's painful to let others 'get away' with their perceptions of you, or assumptions. It's hurtful when your actions are misread and shredd
