COMPLACENCY

We, most times, think that serving God has an ending. Like a point where we say "okay God, I've done it all," and then we begin to live our lives in a pattern that we 'think' is according to God's will. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14, ESV) Lot of Christians live their lives in complacency. Feeling that they've done all that they can, and decide to intertwine the things of God with desires of the flesh. We get rustic, and loose the main focus which is winning more souls to God's kingdom. We can't afford to get complacent in God's vineyard, and it's only possible when we seek God's help.
