ABEJOYE


 It is noteworthy when we are reminded about the power of God by amazing movies that have been put together by believers.

Abejoye is an exemplary movie.

It makes you reverence and also keeps you in awe of God's magnificent power.

The movie is in four seasons that comprises of parts for each season.

The parts in each season has its own powerful message.

The movie is a mixture of modern and local setting.

It reveals that God'spower can work in all places, be it in the village, city or even another country entirely.

It centres around the life of an aged kingmaker and his encounter in Christ.

The lesson I learnt from watching the movie is that the life we profess should be seen and evident in us through our conduct, speech and in all things.

Matt 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored?

It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot.

You are the light of the world. 

A city built on a hill cannot be hid.

No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven".

Let Christ be seen in you.

A new week has begun.

Let us all strive to live expressively the life of Christ which is in us as new creations in Christ.
